Bread recipe scaler
Double it or halve it in the units your recipe uses. For a target batch weight, provide gram equivalents for volume and count measurements.
Your original recipe
Use decimals, fractions (1/2), mixed numbers (1 1/2), or ranges (2–3). Each ingredient keeps its own unit and original cup or spoon standard; changing the unit changes its meaning, not the number. We do not convert between volume units.
| Ingredient | Scaled |
|---|---|
| Bread flour | 1000 g |
| Water | 700 g |
| Salt | 20 g |
| Instant yeast | 7 g |
Scaling changes ingredient amounts only. Larger or smaller loaves can need different pan sizes and bake times. For fractions of an egg or packet, weigh the contents to portion them.
Every ingredient is multiplied by the same factor, so the recipe’s ratios (and its hydration) don’t change. Formula version 1.0.0.
